The Sonys are good, but I've been getting a lot of good shots with a Canon R6 mkII and the 24-240mm RF lens. It covers all the focal lengths and is very sharp for less than $1k. It's a little slower (higher f-stop), but these sensors are good at higher ISOs. The R6 mkII also has bluetooth and wifi connection to phones, so images can be transferred quickly and sent wherever. As you've said in the past, the tool doesn't matter as much as the skill of the person using it.
